How Google can beat facebook part 2. (short post)

Another really good Idea for Google would be to integrate wave into Google+ so that, people who meet each other through the interest match system could work together on writing some brilliant stuff, and Then they should be able to choose whether it was going into public domain, (would appear in the serps), hidden domain (only selected circles) or super hidden domain (only the authors), This could be the thing that not only changed Google+ into becoming the new Facebook while Facebook will be the old Myspace. it would also help Google learn more about its users.

How Google can beat Facebook.

I will start this blog post by describing Google's biggest disadvantage in the war against Facebook, the fact that you can't invite your Facebook friends. Why is this a disadvantage? Well because Facebook came first and this means that everybody has all their friends on Facebook. Is there anyway that Google can turn this DISADVANTAGE into an ADVANTAGE YES THERE IS, read on to find out how.

For an example Google could make G+ the place to go if you want to meet new people globally, here is my suggestions from a psychological site.

First of all we have the obvious interest match system, where you will type in your interests and then meet like minded people from all over the world, and of course this interest match system should also have the feature that when people were typing something in, it would create connections between the different interest, I.e if I were like stating that psychology was a field of interest for me then it would find other people who also stated that, that was an interest for them, along with people who had an interest in neuroscience, the mind, sociology etc.

in this one the user would have to answer 3 questions which I will reveal here:

and then if a person said one to all three it would match the person who did that with another person who did the same.

and finally we have the age match chat rooms, where there are 3 options, locally, countrywide and globally,
now in these chat rooms who ever enters should be paired up with another person +/-/= 2 years of age.

The Psychology of facebook.

Making your Facebook page grow.
Ok lets see what it is that drives people to Facebook (and no it isn't because of that Mark Zuckerberg is a very handsome alpha male ;))
It is however the human desire to show off and compare ourselves to one and another. So how can you utilize this in order to make your Facebook presence grow? I'll tell you how, throw a comparison contest, I.e Who is the hottest member of this Facebook page? Then ask your likes to upload a picture of themselves. and tell them that the picture with the most likes will win the Title of the hottest member of your page.

Tell your likes that you have something special for them in a few days, It could be an e-book that you wrote or something like that. And boost their anticipation to an extreme level, and how do I do this you're probably wondering right? Well simply write something like this: This free thing I will give you in a few days is better then imaginable, infact it is so super special awesome that it should be illegal.

The boredom factor.
Make your fan page a funny place to go. This can among other things be done by revealing shocking facts about celebrities, posting funny Youtube videos, making fun of your own products and of course writing a joke a day on your wall.

Do something news worthy on your Facebook page, make it hit the news, and then sit back and relax as your Facebook presence will grow faster then anything you've ever seen before.

How to sell more!

Did you know that your text is actually the thing that converts people into customers? So why not make a text that sells more?
I will give you the recipe for a text that will convert your visitors to customers.

Humor why? It creates the feeling of joy in your customers.
An example of humor could be you should buy here because, you will put money in our pockets instead of our competitors, and if you join our Facebook page you will help us maximize our profits because then we can lay off our social media guy, and if you place a link to our page on your own you will help us profit maximize even more. Because then we can lay off our SEO guy. (now this form of humor is called honesty)

spark your potential customers lust.
To create the emotion lust in your potential customers minds you'll need to play on their fantasies, if I were supposed to do this, I would write something like this, Do you want all your deepest desires to come true, well then you've found the right spot on the internet (of course this is depending on what you are selling).

Trust is an essential factor of selling, here a few tricks that will give your customers the sense of trust.
First of all tell them repeatedly that their credit card information is safe at your site.
Second of all make it clear who you are, and where your business is located.
third of all, get some seal of trust that you can put on your page. (you can either create one yourself or get some all ready existing one that people already trust)

can you see the point? or allow me to give you another example, lets say I sell sun screen online, then I could make a big fat phrase that says do you really want to die from skin cancer? If not you need some sunscreen.

anticipation and surprise.
Now here is what you wanna do first you start slowly by building anticipation, to your products like this is the greatest, most awesome and best "whatever it is that you are selling" and next you wanna catch your customers by surprise by saying, something like this, and guess what if you order within the next ten minutes we will give you a free gift or a price reduction.

point out all the benefits the customer will get if he/she/it goes shopping at/in your shop.
Lets say I sell "synthetic ganja" I could write you won't ever experience something like this again, you will get so high that you'll drop. because we have the strongest "synthetic ganja in the world" and further more we also have the fastest delivery. :-)
